"5 things" series

This series started out as a final attempt to force me to write regularly. And with each passing week, it has made sure there is a steady flow of prose in this blog. In this series, I look at the things I've learned in my life and try to share it with you. It might be personal or general, it might be interesting or confusing; but I promise you that I'll try to keep it entertaining. I've tried to keep a theme covering the 5 things I talk to you about every week, but it might not be the case every week.
